At the end of the printing day:
When you finish printing for the day, run a final cleaning cycle. If your printer has a "weak cleaning" option, it's best to do it twice before the next step.
Remove the head(s) carrier and then turn off the printer. Move it away from its original position above the capping station to access the capping station.
Use a syringe to add 2 drops onto the capping station; the one beneath the white head requires an additional drop compared to the colored one
Return/push the heads carrier to its starting position (above the capping stations) to ensure that overnight, the moisture in the capping station keeps both the capping station and the head hydrated, preventing the ink from drying.
In the beginning of printing day:
Power up the printer and run a cleaning cycle (ideally the weak cleaning option) two times.
Run a nozzle check
Print a test print to ensure all cleaning solution and any ink residue are removed from the print head and capping station.
Run a nozzle check
If all the lines appear, you can start your printing work with satisfaction; otherwise, further cleaning is required, and you may need to soak the head and manually flush it.
Note: Make sure the head is fully dry before putting it back into the printer.
