on the DTF starters page the Epson Eco Tank 4800 is a reconmended printer, is it suitable because it only has 4 ink cartridges and it says 6 is reconmended? also is there any parts or other things i would have to buy for this printer to start doing DTF printing
DTF is the best method to use for printing, as you can apply on many different types of garments ( but not on hard surfaces like mugs or hard plastic, leather etc) as it will not be durable.
We would recommend you to start with a small printer to learn the process and get to use to it.
We have a blog article, their we recommend some Epaon printer models, you can look at them.

And you are welcome if you have more questions.
